MIS 3002 – Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Systems
This certification means we’re officially approved to design and install solar panel systems. It shows we follow strict rules to make sure your panels are fitted safely, perform efficiently, and last a long time. It’s a mark of quality and gives you peace of mind that the job’s been done properly.
MIS 3012 – Battery Storage
We’re approved to install battery systems that store your solar energy, following the right safety rules. These batteries let you store energy from your panels and use it later, like at night or during power cuts. We follow all the right steps to make sure everything is safe and works smoothly in your home.
RECC – Renewable Energy Consumer Code
We’re signed up to the RECC, which is a strict set of rules designed to protect you – the customer. It means we have to be honest about our prices, clear in our quotes, and fair in how we treat you. It’s there to stop bad practices in the industry and make sure you always know where you stand.
Trading Standards Approved Code
We’re part of a Trading Standards Approved Code of Practice, which means we’ve been checked and approved by local government to treat customers fairly, deliver quality work, and resolve any issues quickly. It’s your guarantee that we play by the rules and look after our customers.
QANW 10-Year Insurance Backed Workmanship Warranty
We provide a 10-year insurance-backed workmanship warranty through QANW. This gives you long-term peace of mind, knowing that if anything goes wrong with the quality of our installation – even if we’re no longer around – your warranty still stands. It’s extra protection for your home and your investment.
This is especially important when it comes to your product warranties. Most solar panels, inverters, and battery systems come with manufacturer warranties that can last 10, 15, or even 25 years. But these warranties often depend on the system being installed to the correct standard. If a fault ever occurs and it’s linked to poor installation, the manufacturer might not honour the product warranty. That’s where our workmanship warranty steps in – it helps cover you if a product issue ends up being caused by the install itself. So you’re protected from every angle for 10 years.
MCS023 – PAS2030
MCS 023 is a Microgeneration Installation Standard within the MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) that outlines extra rules for Solar PV installers. It’s designed to match the PAS2030 standard – a key requirement for energy-saving work under the Green Deal. To meet MCS023, you have to be an experienced, well-established solar and battery installer with solid systems in place for quality, safety, and compliance. It proves that we don’t just install – we do it right, to the highest industry expectations.
NAPIT Competent Person Scheme
We’re registered under NAPIT’s Competent Person Scheme, which proves we’re trained and qualified to do electrical work without needing someone else to check it. It saves you time and money – and ensures the job is done safely and correctly from day one.
TrustMark
TrustMark is a government-endorsed scheme that only approves companies who do great work, follow good customer service practices, and take responsibility for their jobs. If anything ever goes wrong, there’s a proper complaints system to support you.

Octopus Trusted Partner
Octopus Energy only works with trusted solar installers, and we’re proud to be one of them. It means we meet their high standards for technical know-how, customer service, and reliable installations. You’re in safe hands.
ISO 9001 – Quality Management
This means we run our business in a smart, organised way. We’ve got systems in place to make sure you get great service every time – from your first enquiry to the final handover. It’s about doing things right, every time.
ISO 14001 – Environmental Management
We’ve made a promise to work in ways that protect the planet. ISO 14001 means we reduce waste, recycle where we can, and avoid pollution. So when you choose us, you’re choosing a company that walks the talk on sustainability.
ISO 45001 – Health & Safety
Safety matters. ISO 45001 shows we go the extra mile to keep our team, your home, and your family safe while we work. We follow proper safety rules, wear the right gear, and plan jobs so that risks are kept to a minimum. It’s also worth knowing that homeowners have legal responsibilities too. If you’re having work carried out on your property, you must ensure it’s done safely – not just for your family, but for the workers on-site. These accreditations provide assurance that we already have robust systems in place to manage safety professionally on your behalf.

SSIP – Main Contractor
We’re certified to run projects as the main contractor. That means we manage the full job, no matter how big or small – making sure everyone works safely, deadlines are hit, and the whole thing runs like clockwork. We also work closely with home and business owners to make sure site safety is maintained throughout the project.

SSIP – Sub Contractor
We also work with other top-tier companies as a trusted subcontractor. Our SSIP approval means we follow the same high safety and quality rules even when we’re working under someone else’s lead. This includes taking responsibility for site safety and ensuring all work meets health and safety laws – whether we’re leading or supporting a project.

MyEnergi Installer
We’re trained to install clever MyEnergi products, like the Zappi EV charger. These systems help you use more of your own solar energy, charge your car from the sun, and get more control over your home’s energy use.
